*These are both eight-week courses you will need to take if you have little or no programming experience or knowledge of databases. These courses will count as general electives.

*If you plan on pursuing a cognate area in computer science you will need to register for CSCI C211 in place of INFO I210, and CSCI C212 in place of INFO I211.

You may want to take beginning level courses in a number of different cognate areas before deciding on a cognate. The beginning level courses generally count as Social Science courses or as Arts & Humanities courses.
