Saturday-Thursday
I spent a marvelous time in Singapore at the Institute for Mathematics at the National University of Singapore. I presented a four-hour tutorial in systems biology and a talk on iGibbs as a part of the Algorithmic Biology: Algorithmic Techniques in Computational Biology workshop.

Haixu Tang, a faculty member in our school, will be presenting too.

My host was Dr. Hon-Wai Leong who did an incredible job organizing the event. Hon-wai does work in Proteomics. I met a lot of interesting people including Dr. Bernard Moret who works on algorithms and leads the tree of life project CIPRES.
