Designing and Developing an Information System
Objectives:
The objective of this assignment is for the student to demonstrate a reasonable
level of mastery of Cascading Style Sheets and thereby complete the I450 CSS
technology seminar requirements.
Assignment
Your assignment is to create a new external Cascading Style Sheet
for an existing web page. If you have taken the XHTML technology
seminar you should use the web page you created for that assignment for
this excercise.
The stylesheet
you are to create must
contain
at
least
10 different style rules and they all
must be used in the web page.
You may not turn in an existing CSS page you have
created for a previous assignment (i.e. I308).
Post your pages on a server of your choice and submit the link to the W3C
validation service to ensure that your stylesheet does comply with CSS
standards. Once it does comply, you must add the "CSS" image provided by the
W3C validation service to the bottom of your page.
Turn in the final URL of your HTML page in a text document and upload it to the "Lab 4 - CSS" assignment page on Oncourse.
Due Date:
This assignment is due by midnight on the 7th day following the date of the seminar session attended.
You will receive feedback on this assignment within a week after the due date.
