Informatics is a new school at Indiana University that focuses on applying information technology to solve problems in everyday settings. Each of our degrees is an interdisciplinary endeavor that combines course work and field experiences from a traditional subject area or discipline with intensive study of information and technology. Founded in 2000, it is the nation’s first school of informatics.
