I am the program chair for eCrime '07, and was the program co-chair for ACNS ’04, WiSe ’05, WiSe ’04 and a DIMACS workshop on voting. I served as vice president of the International Financial Cryptography Association. I am an area editor of MC2R, and the general chair for Crypto '07. I am a co-founder of RavenWhite, and a co-author of "Cryptographic Protocols" (Addison-Wesley, with Mao) and "Phishing and Countermeasures" (Wiley, with Myers).
I have refereed articles for the Journal of Cryptology, The Computer Journal, ETRI, and IEEE Electronic Letters. I have been a co-referee for Eurocrypt, Crypto, STOC, FOCS, Structures, Financial Cryptography, PODC, RSA-CT, Usenix Commerce, and Asiacrypt. I have reviewed portions of Bruce Schneier’s book Applied Cryptography , and of Encyclopedia of Cryptography and Security , edited by Henk van Tilborg. I am on the advisory committee for The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research. I am contributor to the Bluetooth Security SIG and a reviewer of Bluetooth Security , published by Artech House. I have contributed to NIST’s recommendations on Wireless Network Security. (NIST Special publication 800-4). I contributed two chapters (“Privacy” and “Cryptographic Protocols”) to Handbook of Information Security , John Wiley & Sons, Inc. I was the editor of the RSA CryptoBytes while at RSA Laboratories.
I am an author or co-author for several U.S. and international patents (around 80 issued or pending). I am an invited speaker at USENIX Security '07. I was an invited panelist at Techpoint ’06, USENIX ’04 and MobiCom ’03, and gave an invited talk at WiSe ’03. I have given invited talks at a number of institutions, including: Laboratoire d’Informatique, Ecole Normale Superieure; IBM Zurich; the Monte Verita Workshop; Chulalongkorn University; University of California at San Diego; NTT Research Japan; AT&T Research; Laboratory of Computer Science, MIT; Dept. of Management Sciences, University of Iowa; Institut fur Theoretische Informatik, ETHZ; Stevens Institute of Technology; Dept. of Mathematics and Computer Science, Odense University; IBM T.J.
