Biography

Christian is a PhD student in Human-Computer Interaction Design and Complex Systems at Indiana University. His research focuses generally on the design of large systems for collective action, and the business, political and social aspects of those systems.

Some of his recent work has included the study of the formative political implications of online communities, new de-centralized business models, and digitally-facilitated business-consumer co-creation.

In early 2009, Christian founded SociaLens, a research and advisory firm focused on helping mid to large-sized organizations to understand and strategically use social media.

You can find out more about Christian via his Twitter stream, his blog or the SociaLens blog.
