Biography

Jeremy serves as the Director of Career Services, giving strategic direction to student career education, employer development, and the broad range of career education and on-campus recruiting services offered.

Jeremy has worked in Career Services at IU since 2001. While at IU he has served as a career coach, a job search course instructor, an employer liaison, and a board member on various career task forces at IU, in the state of Indiana, and in the Midwest region. Before coming to Bloomington, Jeremy worked in Orientation and Residence Life at Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Jeremy received his Masters in Higher Education from Indiana University and his Bachelors in English Education from Western Michigan University.

Jeremy desires high quality career education for all Informatics & Computing students. He is very holistic in his approach, embracing each student as unique. His favorite topics include: personal branding, helping underclass students with job choices, teaching students how to market their skills, and 1st year salary budgeting and negotiation.

Outside of the office, Jeremy spends a lot of time with his wife and daughters. Jeremy loves to laugh with people, he is also a huge IU basketball fan, relishes their vegetable garden, enjoys deer hunting season, and bikes to work whenever the weather permits.
