Biography
A native of southern Indiana, Rachel has over six years of experience in graduate admissions at Indiana University. She joined the School of Informatics in February of 2007 from the Kelley School of Business MBA Program Office. In 2008, she graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education and Student Affairs. She has also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.
At the School of Informatics and Computing, Rachel manages the graduate admissions process and is the administrative contact for Informatics Ph.D. students. She attends recruitment events, schedules campus visits, and coordinates the orientation program for new graduate students. She is also a member of NAGAP (National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals). If you have any questions regarding the MS or Ph.D. graduate programs, please contact her.
On a personal note, Rachel is on the board of directors for a local non-profit organization. She is also married and has a stepdaughter and a newborn daughter.
